No changes to Diocese of Sioux City COVID-19 health protocols

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Officials with the Diocese of Sioux City say no changes will be made to their current COVID-19 health mandates following Governor Kim Reynold’s relaxation of several mandates.

On Friday, Governor Kim Reynolds signed a new public health measure that relaxed several existing public health measures. This included ending a requirement for people to wear face coverings in public when around others for at least 15 minutes.

“The diocesan COVID-19 Task Force and the bishop’s senior advisors continue to monitor data daily on a local, regional and national level and will discuss the governor’s decree and its impacts and implication at a meeting later this week,” the statement read in part.
